Harlequins Rugby Camps offer a fun, safe and inclusive environment for six to 18-year olds to better their knowledge of the game. Delivered by our vastly experienced and qualified Community Coaches, our camps are designed to develop new skills, create new friendships and build confidence, both on and off the pitch. All camp content is created in collaboration with the Harlequins Academy, with a fun and creative style of play at the heart of the delivery.
There are plenty of opportunities to join one of our camps with more than 60 camps running throughout the season from tag rugby for U6s–U8s up to a weeklong residential camp held at Charterhouse School.
We offer the following types of camps:
Rugby Camps – These camps typically run over two or three days and are held at our Affiliate Rugby Clubs or at The Stoop and are open to boys and girls aged six to 14 of all abilities. These camps aim to develop your child’s rugby skills and technical ability whilst ensuring enjoyment and inclusion are at the very core of all delivery. Using a game-based approach, we ensure your child will always have fun and feel part of a team!
Skills Clinics – The Harlequins Skills Clinics are for 12 to 18-year olds and focus on specific skills and development areas of the game. Such areas include Kicking, Set Piece and Creativity. These sessions will see the participants working with Harlequins Players and have a real focus on the technical knowledge and in game specifics for the skill area.
Residential Camp – The Harlequins Residential Camp take place each summer at Charterhouse School where 12 to 18-year-old aspiring players come from all over the world to take part on the weeklong camp which sees the participants mirror the week of a professional player. Alongside rugby training the participants will experience sessions from Playing Department staff in nutrition, performance analysis, sport psychology and strength and conditioning. All camps participants will receive a complimentary Harlequins gift and an invitation to attend a Senior Squad training session where they will get the opportunity to meet the players, take photos with them and have memorabilia signed.
What our parents say:
“The guys were fantastic: kids loved it and came back each day smiling. Can’t do better than that...”
“My daughter said that everyone was very friendly and very well organised she would definitely like to go to another camp so thank you”
“The boys always come away from the camp days tired and happy, they look forward to the camp all summer and are always sad when it has finished. The strong values that under pin the camps seem to rub off on them and foster a good attitude.”
